Dr Joel Tate graduated from UWA Medical School in 2000 before training as a Geriatrician in Western Australia.  Areas of interest include perioperative medicine, cognition, neurodegenerative and movement disorders (including Parkinson’s Disease), medication reconciliation and living well into older age.   He is actively involved in teaching medical students and junior doctors, examiner of medical students, and research with a focus on quality improvement and quality of life in older age.
